About Ariana Gioia
I received my BA in Psychology from the University of Northern Colorado in 2010 and my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs in 2012. In my years as a therapist I have worked with a wide variety of clients from children in therapeutic homes, women and children living in domestic violence shelters, individuals suffering with severe drug and alcohol abuse, to incarcerated adults. In 2014 I transitioned to working in group private practice and stayed in that setting until 2021 when I created my own private practice, Healing Pathways, LCC.
As time in my profession passed I found that my area of clinical passion was in working with adults and treating complex trauma and women's issues. I have found particular meaning in working with those who have experienced developmental/ attachment trauma, sexual abuse, intimate partner violence, the loss of a loved one to suicide, and parents who have suffered the devastating loss of a child.
I consider it a privilege that my clients allow me to work with them during their times of uncertainty and struggle and genuinely I enjoy helping others navigate through changes and different phases of their lives with the goal of healing and finding peace and acceptance within themselves .
When I am not with my clients I enjoy spending time with my husband, our two boys, and our dog. I love being with nature, gardening, and baking.
